A split-image composition featuring the Statue of Liberty with fireworks on the left and the Sydney Opera House at night.

This dual-image composition features two iconic landmarks showcased against night skies. The left panel depicts the Statue of Liberty in a warm, amber-toned light, holding her torch aloft as vibrant fireworks explode in the background. The statue’s face and robes are illuminated by the festive pyrotechnics, which spread in starbursts of red, white, and gold, reflecting a celebratory and patriotic mood.

The right panel showcases the Sydney Opera House during the evening. The structure is bathed in cool blue light, highlighting the sharp, geometric curves of its iconic white sails against a deepening twilight sky. Behind the opera house, a steel-arch bridge spans the horizon, its silhouette softly defined against the fading light. The image captures the building reflected in the calm, dark waters of the harbor in the foreground, creating a symmetrical and tranquil contrast to the energetic display on the left. Both scenes are presented as photographic-style images set against a dark background.

This layout features a dual-panel comparison of two iconic landmarks: the Statue of Liberty in New York and the Sydney Opera House. The left side presents each scene in natural daylight or ambient evening light, showing the Statue of Liberty silhouetted against vibrant, multicolored fireworks and the Sydney Opera House illuminated against a dusk sky. The corresponding panels to the right reveal a dramatic transformation where the same images appear to glow with a sharp, monochromatic yellow-neon luminescence, simulating a phosphorescent effect in the dark.

The overall aesthetic is designed to demonstrate a light-sensitive visual effect. The background is a solid deep blue, contrasted by a black vertical sidebar on the right that provides instructional graphics and text. The typography at the top uses a stylized, rounded font to mimic the appearance of neon glass tubing. The layout is structured and informational, utilizing icons like a sun and moon to represent the transition from light to dark environments.

The imagery relies on sharp contrast to highlight the transformative nature of the subjects. In the daylight versions, the scenes are rich in detail and color, capturing the warmth of fireworks and the soft shadows of twilight. In the neon versions, the detail is reduced to bold, glowing outlines and bright yellow light-filled shapes, creating a high-energy, synthetic appearance. The combination of photography and illustrative graphic elements creates a technical, instructional presentation.

Strange, it is an Educa, but all the text on the box is in German. Seems to be a special edition. Barcode with only 5 digits?
I bought this puzzle long ago, before I secialized on cat puzzles. Tried to sell it several times, but nobody wanted to buy it.
